George Jones, Stareton to Hon. Mrs. [Julia Judith] Leigh: encloses details re Hamstall timber sales [not with]; progress of building works; thinks rebuilding of J. Lawrence's barn at Hamstall is Leigh responsibility. Quarry at Ashow `very bad' and will not yield sufficient stone for the intended bridge.
