Description
Thomas Hill Mortimer, Albany to James Henry Leigh. Says he has forwarded £300 to Geneva for Chandos Leigh as requested (see DR 18/17/44/16). Refers to a claim the Meadows family might have under late Lord Leigh's will for £500. Has offered Mr. Staniforth £800 for 1/16 share in ship 'Hebe'; advises to accept £750 rather than risk diminishing value.
