Description

Richard Darley to Hon. Mrs. Leigh: tells of W. Ballard's sudden death and asks if his widow can remain in the farm with her nephew's assistance. Mr. William Jeffcoat has declined Maxstoke Farm. Darley will go to Bath to ask Mr. Mallory to consent to enclosure of Leek Wootton. £5,300 in Mr. Woodcock's bank shortly to be paid to Mr. Leigh.
