Warwick, gentleman, deceased, of the first part, Sir Henry Raynsford of Clifford Chamberer, co. Gloucs., knight, Robert Wilcox the elder of Brandon, co. Warwick, gentleman, John Turner of Atherston, gentleman and John Turner the younger, his son and heir, of the second part and Thomas Hurdis of Heathcott, co. Warwick, yeoman, of the third part, whereby in consideration of £1050 paid by Thomas Hurdis intended for the payment of the debts and legacies of Thomas Turner the father, deceased, the other parties sold to him the messuage in Atherston then in the occupation of Thomas Hurdis, Shakesway Leasowe, then in the occupation of Thomas Earle, John Watkins, Richard Hutchins and Henry Pawmer, the three closes known as Bradthorne Leasowes then or late in the occupation of William Kinges, William ffeild, William Chaundler and William Smyth, and Madgefont Meadowe then in the occupation of Thomas Hurdis, all formerly part of the inheritance of Thomas Turner the father, from John Turner the grandfather.
