Description

Lease and release, the release being a conveyance from Letitia Smith of Moseley in the parish of Kingsnorton, co. Worcs., widow and John Smith of the same, cordwainer, with the privity of Sarah Smith of the same, spinster, to Robert Knight and Edward Cooper of Henley-in-Arden, same county, gentleman, his nominal trustee, in consideration of £1491 (£1285.5s.1 1/2 d. retained by Robert Knight in satisfaction of a mortgage and £205.14s.10 1/2 d paid by him to Letitia Smith and John Smith) of a messuage and lands known as Banks Farm in Studley; Edward Bolton King is also a party (see DR 36/161).
