Receipt from Lords Treasurers Remembrancers in re sums of pound;29.19s.0 frac12;d and pound;62.2s.8d due from Richard Archer, deceased in re issue of office as collector tenths and fifteenths for Barlichway 1540/1 and as eschaetor Warwickshire and Leicestershire, December 1536-November 1537. Attached to : Copy decree same date reciting Letters Patent 13 Jan 1608/9 whereby King granted to Sir Thomas Shirley and others three quarters of all sums due to Henry VIII with discretion to compound, reciting arrears of Richard Archer and that Andrew Archer and Simon Archer have compounded for same for pound;5.
