Transport Acts: The West Midland Railway Act

An Act to amalgamate the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway Company and the Worcester and Hereford Railway Company with the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway Company under the name of the West Midland Railway Company [14/06/1860].

The Act commenced and came into operation on 01/07/1860.

This copy of the Act was printed in 1869, by George Edward Eyre and William Spottiswoode.

This Act of Parliament refers specifically to 'West Midland Railway', not 'West Midlands Railway'.
