Receipt from Barbara Smith alias Courte, executrix of the will of Thomas Barrett of Ullenhall, gent deceased, her late husband to John Hollington, Ullenhall, yeoman, for pound;60, payment for two closes in Ullenhall in the parish of Wootton Wawen, called Chapel Meadow and Chapel Leasow, conveyed 6 July 1598 by said Thomas Barret to said John. Signed by mark seal applied through paper tongue. Witnesses: John Edes, Thomas Courte, Baldwin Gilbert, Henry Chambers.
