Description
Papers relating to claim of John, son of William Clerkson against John Archer, esquire, for wrongful seizure of lands in Tanworth (Bernsfeld, Swansdych, Brownes and Brownescroft) which Archer claims were held of him by knights service and rent. William died leaving John under age, viz 4 and Archer entered the lands during minority. Also claims and Archer wrongfully enclosed lands of Clerkson in field called Pyryhill.
