Description
Case for and Opinion of John Mellor, Temple, as to obtaining arrears of chief rent for cottages built on waste land of the Manor of Stratford and occupied for many years by paupers. The Overseers of Old Stratford used to pay this but the Auditor of the Poor Law Union has forbidden them to do so.
