Recitals: (1) 24 Dec.1816 Lease for 42 years from Mayor and Corporation of S/A to Thomas Saunders, S/A, tanner. (2) 9 Oct 1821 Further lease for 18 years to commence at expiry of (1). (3) 3 Apl 1822 Bankruptcy of Saunders and appointment of Samuel Taylor, Combrook, schoolmaster and Thomas Ashwin, S/A, draper as Assignees. (4) 2 Jan 18 Jul 1823 Assignment by Taylor, Ashwin and Hartlands (as mortgagees) to Thomas Williams. (5) 18 Jul 1823 Mortgage by Thomas Williams to Hartlands to secure £3000 and interest, of which £400 still due.
