Draft Chancery Bill: Thomas Tasker, S/A, gent., as creditor and on behalf of other specialty creditors of William Hemings late of Sheffield, innholder, deceased. William Hemings, by bond dated 4 May 1824, was indebted to Thomas Tasker for £320 and interest for which title deeds to 2 cottages in Rother Market by Meer Pool side were security. These premises in 1824 were vested in Thomas Woods Weston (Recites DR 42/110 (1)-(4)). Thomas Woods Weston has invested balance of purchase money in 3 percnt; stock in his own name and has not, despite repeated requests, paid creditors. Thomas Tasker claims that creditors entitled to proceeds of sale and accumulated interest.
