Bidford manorial records: T.P.Wadley collection

Description

Letter from Sir George Talbot to Thomas Blayney pointing out that the demand for the heriots was made some years after his brother's death in 1812 and that the executor of his estate has long since settled the executorship and `will not listen to such a demand'. He renews his offer of 20 guineas as a total settlement for all four heriots and adds that if Blayney is willing to accept this amount in full composition of the claim he will in fact make the sum 25 guineas but no more.
