Covenant by Nathaniel Cookes of Billesley, gent., and Anne his wife, and Thomas Cookes their son, William Gerrard of Henley-in-Arden, gent. and Rebecca his wife (late the widow of William Jones of Henley-in-Arden) and Thomas Jones of Warwick, sadler, son and heir of the said William Jones, and Edward Richardson of Old Stratford, turner, for £120 paid to the said Nathaniel, Anne and Thomas Cookes by Thomas Taylor of Armscot in Tredington, yeoman, for £90 paid to the said William and Rebecca Gerrard and Thomas Jones by Nathaniel Deykin of Henley-in-Arden, tallow-chandler and for £50 paid to the said Edward Richardson by Richard Marshall of Old Stratford, letter-carrier, to acknowledge and levy a fine to the said Thomas Taylor, Nathaniel Deykin and Richard Marshall, of a messuage in the tenure of Joan Cookes, widow, mother of the said Nathaniel Cookes, and lands (described) in Bishops Itchington, to the use of John Cookes, one of the sons of the said Nathaniel Cookes, for life, with remainder to his wife Hannah and their heirs; of a messuage in Henley-in-Arden (boundaries described) to the use of the said Nathaniel Deykin; and of a messuage in Bull Lane, Old Stratford (boundaries) in the tenure of Edward Richardson, to the use of the said Richard Marshall.
