Description

Copy will of William Quiney of Cookhill in the parish of Inkborough, co. Worcs., yeoman, bequeathing to his daughter, Nancy, wife of Samuel Dowdeswell of Bidford, saddler, all that piece of freehold land in the parish of Bidford, co. Warwick, now in the occupation of William Hatton, called by the name of Single Ley, to be held in trust for her by Thomas Bayliss of Inkborough aforesaid. He further bequeaths his malthouse in Bidford, now in the occupation of John Sowe, and his freehold and copyhold land in the said parish now in the occupation of William Hatton (except for the piece of land called Single Ley mentioned above) and his cottage and garden at Tower Hill in Bidford, in the occupation of Thomas Houghton and a second cottage and garden in the occupation of Job Hale, to his son-in-law Henry Bayliss of Cookhill, farmer, and to Mary his wife, to be held in trust for them by Thomas Bayliss of Inkborough.
