Probate of the will of Richard Burrowes of Walsall, distiller and maltster, dated 9 October 1769, bequeathing for 500 years to trustees his house and two closes of land in Walsall near Birchills upon trust to raise by sale of lease of part of the same the sum of £100 for his daughter, Catherine Bastian Adams, with remainder to Richard Burrowes, his son; his houses etc. in Rushall Street to his said daughter; five other messuages in Walsall to his trustees for the benefit of his wife Catherine and daughter, Anne Burrowes; his messuages called the Bull Head Inn in Walsall to his trustees for the benefit of his said wife and his son, Thomas Burrowes; and another messuage in Walsall to his wife for life with reversion to his son Richard Burrowes.
