Bidford manorial records: T.P.Wadley collection

Description

Letter from John Lowe, Temple, London, to Thomas Blayney concerning an 80 acre farm at Bidford belonging to Sir George Talbot and now occupied by William Wadley, part of which farm is freehold and part copyhold held of the manor of Bidford. Mr. Lowe recites Sir George's title to the farm, together with his intention of selling it to the Marquis of Hertford and asks Blayney to send him copies of the admissions of Charles Henry Talbot (Sir George's father) and Sir Charles Talbot, Bart., (his brother), as he is preparing an abstract of title in respect of the proposed sale.
