Bidford manorial records: T.P.Wadley collection

Description

Copy of a letter from Thomas Blayney to Sir George Talbot saying that the claim for the heriots due to Lady Skipwith was made clear at the Manorial Court held in 1813 where the death of his brother, Sir Charles Talbot, was presented. He recites the history of the correspondence concerning the four heriots and adds that a settlement of 25 guineas for the whole of the fees due (amounting to 10 guineas) is totally unacceptable and that he awaits payment of the amount outstanding for the two remaining heriots.
