Mickleton deeds: Hiron of Alveston

Copy settlement on the marriage of Edmund Rose of Mickleton, son and heir apparent of John Rose the elder of Mickleton, yeoman, by Eleanor his wife, to Mary Albright daughter of Lawrence Albright, late of Mickleton, being a conveyance from the said John, Eleanor and Edmund Rose, to John Rutter of Mickleton, yeoman, and John Rose the younger, one other of the sons of John Rose the elder, for £200, of a messuage in Mickleton in the tenure of John Rose the elder, half an acre of land lying near Tunn Furlong, 23 other acres also in his tenure and two closes called Little Grandbrookes containing 10 acres together with the tithes due therefrom; to hold the same in trust, as to one half part to the use of John Rose and Eleanor his wife for their lives, with remainder to Edmund Rose and his heirs; and as to the other half, to the use of Edmund Rose and Mary Albright for their lives, with remainder to their issue.
