Description

Grant by William Beoley, of Stratford upon Aven, to John Webbe and Joan his wife, of a croft in Stratford in Churchstrete, between land late of William Rokesley and a dovecote late of the heirs of John Smale in breadth, and extending from the said street to the land of the Bishop of Worcester in length, which croft he had of the gift and feoffment of John Harewell, esq., John Lee, esq., John Hulle, Robert Trout and John Mortemer, chaplains Witnesses: John Burnham, `capitalis ballivus', Thomas Payntour and Nicholas Mayel, `sub-ballivi', Richard Halle, Thomas Mayel and others Dated at Stratford, Friday in the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, 9 Hen.VI Seal of red wax, octagonal.
