Grant by Sir Thomas Burdet, knt., of Arowe, to master John Harys `scolemayster' of Stratford upon Auen, John Leke and Thomas Mayel of the same, of a half burgage in Stratford in Henleystrete between a grange of Nicholas Saucere and a grange of the Gild of the Holy Cross which half burgage the grantor together with Thomas Compton, senior, deceased, late had of the gift and feoffment of John Raynold of Stratford Witnesses: Alured Trussell, knight, William Trussell his son, Richard Halle, William Rokesley, Hugh Salford and others Dated at Stratford, Monday after the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Mary, 2 Henry VI Armorial seal of red wax, circular.
