Counterpart of lease, indented, from Thomas Whateley, master of the Gild of the Holy Cross etc. of Straford vppon Avyn, William Phillips, Thomas Taylour, Olyuer Lyghtfote, Hughe Raynoldes, Henry Samwell, John Combes, Thomas Phillips and Henry Hyll, aldermen, and Henry Bedull and Robert Honyate, proctors of the same Gild, to Henry Samwell, of `a mese wt medowes, lesowes, pastures, commyns and appurtynaunttes' in Brugetowne in the parish of Straforde late in the tenure of William Staffordshire; and also a tenement with a barn and garden in the Woldetowne of Straford in the tenure of John Hay, for 41 years at an annual rent of 21s.4d., suit of court and chief rents due to any person Dated 25 November, 26 Henry VIII.
