Counterpart of lease, indented, from Richard Quyny, master of the Gild of the Holy Gross' etc., of Straforde vppon Aven, William Cloppton, esq., Thomas Taylour, Hughe Raynolde, Thomas Whateley, William Smyth, Richard Lyghtfote, John Geffreys and William Benet, aldermen, William Menske and Andrew Sutton, proctors of the same Gild, to Thomas Dyckeson, `glouer', of a shop in Medull Rewe called le Shambulles in the tenure of [blank] Starkye, `bocher', for 41 years at an annual rent of 13 shillings, with bond of obligation in 20 marks for the performance of covenants `Geven made and compresed in the haule of the sayd Gilde', 15 November, 34 Hen.VIII Seal lost A unique feature of this lease is that the indenture is cut through the words `Gloria et Honor altissimo Amen'
