Lease from Nicholas Saucer, Richard Fylly, Thomas de Compton', William de Westyngton', Ralph Saucer, Thomas de Otyngdon' and William de Wellyngton' of Stratford upon Auen, to John Northfolk of Warrewyk and Joan his wife and William their son, for the term of their lives, of a tenement in the suburbs of Warwick in Le Smythestrete which formerly belonged to John Saltere of Warwick, between a tenement late of the said John Salter and a tenement formerly of Edward de Wolfreton' and extending to Seynt Nicolastrete, at an annual rent of 12 shillings Witnesses: William Hobkyns, William of the Chambre, Thomas Dauy, Ralph Alwalt, William Wotton of Warwick, and others Datum c. Anno c. [sic] A draft or copy On the verso are various memoranda apparently unconnected with the deed (1) Memorandum that Richard Bochere and Agnes Frettere have a day for appearing before the Master of the Gild on Monday next after the feast of St. Lucy the Virgin, in the 8th year of the reign of King Henry VI at the sixth striking of the clock, to arbitrate concerning certain petitions and debts in dispute between them etc. And with them they shall bring Richard Halle and John Clifford, arbitrators between them of the same etc (2) `Remaining in the hands of the chaplains, 7 potagers, 3 dessert plates, and 5 saucers, and 1 ladle, 1 brass skimmer, 1 brass mortar with an iron pestle and a large grate' (3) Memoranda concerning matters pending between John Harrop and William Stratford, between W. Whelare and W. Mulleward, between William Wheler and Alice Smyth, lcub;between W. Ireton and Ralph Vlemaker rcub;, between John Couper and the Gild, between Nicholas Leke and the Gild, concerning the lands and tenements of Thomas Trout late in Stretford, and concerning the building of the tenement of John Sclatter and the payment for the building of the same
