Description

Writing witnessing that the many disputes which had arisen between sir Robert called Batheman of Adelminton, chaplain, and Richard le Pouer and Christina his wife had been set at rest upon a certain "love day" (dies amoris) viz. on the Friday next after the feast of St. Mathias the Apostle, A.D.1305, the said Robert binding himself to the said Richard and Christina in the sum of 6s.8d. to continue to keep the agreement Witnesses: Master Roger le Pouer of Clifford, John de Wonecote, master Hugh de Wylicote, clerk, sir Simon de Adrestone and sir Henry Parent, chaplains Dated at Clifford "on the day and year above written" Seal cut off and lost
