Description

Conveyance from Jane Morris and Frances Morris of Alveston to Rev. Henry Harding of Lichfield, co. Staffs., clerk, and his trustee (reciting that the premises herein described, amongst other things, were conveyed to the said Jane and Fanny Morris by James Hemming Whitehouse, esquire, and Grace his wife on 8 April 1846) for £21. 11s. 3d., of a strip of land in Alveston on which a fence formerly stood in front of land belonging to the said Henry Harding and adjoining a public road leading to Alveston from the turnpike road leading from Stratford to Wellesbourne; which fence extended along the said road for the whole length of the field of the said Henry Harding called Bakers or Bacon Leys, except where the entrance to the church and churchyard intervenes. Covenant to produce earlier title deeds to this strip of land, with schedule of deeds from 28 and 29 March 1797. Plan annexed.
