Description

Conveyance from Rev. William Rose Holden of Lark Hill, co. Worcs., clerk, Hyla Holden Rose of Edgbaston near Birmingham, esquire, and Robert Mynors of Weathercock Hill, co. Worcs., esquire (trustees of the will of Hyla Holden, late of Wasperton, esquire, proved 26 January 1843), with the consent of Rebecca Holden, widow of the said Hyla Holden, to Rev. Henry Harding of Lichfield, co. Staffs., clerk, and his trustee, for £1497. 16s. 0d., of a plot of land in Alveston called the North Pyke, lying in a place called Lower Sand Field and containing 4a 1r 20p, and a plot of land in Alveston, containing 5a 2r 23p, part of an allotment called Bakers Leys (except a piece of land containing 2r 1p on which a new parish church has been built); which two plots of land were late in the tenure of Daniel Evans, since of John Bachelor, then of William Edwards and now of Richard Smith and which were, with other premises, conveyed to the said Hyla Holden by indentures of 13 and 14 August 1824
