Conveyance by lease and release from John Cookes of Stratford-upon-Avon, yeoman, brother and heir of Thomas Cookes late of the same, maltster, with the consent of Joseph Smith and William Tasker, assignees of the estate of John Cookes in trust for creditors, to John Hamp of Stratford-upon-Avon, baker, for £190, of a messuage and malthouse in Rother Market in the tenure of Thomas Cookes, with four cottages in Moore Townsend in the respective tenures of Francis Knight, Martha Hiron, Widow Pardoe and Robert Burrows; which premises were purchased by Thomas Cookes (brother of John Cookes) of Stephen Letherland (no. 17).
