Settlement on the marriage of John Maudick of Great Alne yeoman, to Margaret Mercer of Great Alne, widow, being an assignment from John Maudick to Francis Baker of Henley-in-Arden, maltster, of a lease, dated 10 April, 12 William III, from Edward Phillips of Great Alne, labourer, to John Maudick, of a cottage in Great Alne late in the tenure of Robert Staples but then of Edward Phillips and Sarah his wife, for 1500 years; to hold in trust for the said John Maudick for life, with remainder to his intended wife, Margaret.
