Gift from William de Waterton' to the Abbot and Convent of Cumba of lands in Brinkelowe

Description

Gift with warranty from William de Watereton' to the Abbot of Cumba and to the Convent of the same place and their successors of a half burgage and five selions of arable land with their appurtenances in Brinkelowe, namely that half burgage and that land which he had by the gift and feoffment of Thomas Hamond de Brinkelowe; and the said half burgage lies between the tenement of William de Craft and the tenement of Ralph Hamond and two selions lie on Fossefurlong between the land of Thomas Jonessone and the land of Richard de Felde and another selion lie on the same culture next the land of the said Thomas and two buttes lie at Peters croft next the land of John son of Margerie; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: Guy Bretoun, John de Merinton', Philip Purefey, Henry Morys, Henry Parys and others. Dated at Brinkelowe on the day of St. Gregory the Pope, 22 Edward III (12 Mar 1347/8).
