Description

Feoffment from Willaim Treppas of Willowbye blacksmith, and Joan his wife, to Loveisgod Gregory of Stivechall esq., for £29 10s. 0d., of a messuage with appurtenances in Brincklowe and a little close adjoining, now in the occupation of Jeremiah Buckingham; to hold for ever of the chief lord of the fee. Covenants to levy fine, and appointment of Benjamin Turvile of Higham on the Hill, co. Leics., gent., and Benjamin Lynes of Stivechall husbandman, as attornies to deliver seisin. Signed: Willaim Treppas, Joan Treppaz (by mark). Two red seals on tags: wrapped in parchment. Witnesses: B. Turvile, Francis Gramer, John Norton, Thomas Mathew.
