Description

Quitclaim from Robert son of Henry Baker (Pistoris) of Coventr' to the said Henry his father of all his right in a third part of a field called le Schocheresfeld' outside the vill of Coventr', lying between the land of Margery widow of Walter de Bannebur' and the land of the said Robert in breadth, and extending in length from the road leading from Cundulm' [Coundon] as far as the land of Richard le Bourser; also his right in seven selions of arable land in Seynt Nycolas feld' in Coventr' lying between the land formerly belonging to Robert de Chylton' and the land of the said Robert in breadth, and extending in length from the road leading to Haselwode to the land of Margery widow of Walter de Bannebur'; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee; and for this the said Henry gives 40 shillings. Witnesses: William le Parkere, coroner, John le Cu., Thomas le Moubray, John Pyhod, Richard Tyllay and others. Dated at Coventr': Sunday in the vigil of St. Botulph, 25 Edward I.
