Description

Gift and quitclaim in frankalmoign from Alice widow of Henry Jaumbe, to God and the church of the Blessed Mary of Coventr' and especially to the altar of the Blessed Mary where mass is daily celebrated, of all her right in a third part of all the lands and woods which the said Henry her husband once gave to the said church, for the burning of a wax taper every year on the said altar; which third part she could claim by right as dower. Sealed for greater security with the seal of Henry Rowald, lord of Cornleg'. Witnesses: Henry Rowald', Thomas de Keresleg', Richard Ernis, Robert de Chilton', Henry `pistore', Roger Falke, John de Wikewaue, and others. Tag, seal lost.
