Description

Gift from Thomas Legat' of Leycestria, chaplain, to William le Westerne of Stivechale and Alice de Rochewelle, his wife, of property in Stivechale described exactly as in no. 633; to hold the same for ever of the chief lord of the fee; and should the said William die without heirs by the said Alice, then the said property to descend to the heirs of the said Alice. Witnesses: Simon de Clowde, William de Canneleye, clerk, Robert de Sowe, clerk, William de Barwe, Thomas de Barwe, Geoffrey de Whiteleye, Walter de Royewell', smith and others. Dated at Stivechale, Sunday on the morrow of St. Scholastica 6 Edward II. Tag, seal lost.
