Description

Quitclaim with warranty from John son of Thomas de Lodelowe of Coventr' to John le Armurer of Coventr' of all his right in a messuage in `vico comitis' [Earl Street] Coventr', in which the said John le Armurer formerly sold his life interest, lying between the messuage of the grantor which Alice his mother holds there in dower and the tenement of Copstoneschapel; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: John de Clyfton', bailiff, Roger de Pacwode, coroner, Adam Pollynges, Thomas de Northfeld, John le Percy, Geoffrey Warin, John Anketin, clerk, and others. Dated at Coventr', Thursday next after the feast of St. Laurence, 16 Edward II. Seal on tag: circular, dark brown, broken. A hawk pouncing upon a bird.
