Description

Gift with warranty from Thomas de Brandeston' of Coventre to William le Galays of two messuages with shops adjacent in Coventre of which one messuage with the shops adjacent lies in `la Erlestret' between the tenements of Nicholas le Hunte and William le Coteler and the other messuage lies in `le Baillilone' between the tenements of Thomas le Chaloner and John Box; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: William Erneys, John le Warde, bailiff of Coventre, Jordan de Shepeye, Roger le Bray, Thomas le Chaloner, Adam Makehayt', Roger le Hunte and others. Dated at Coventre in the second Sunday in Lent, 15 Edward III. Seal on tag: circular, red, broken. On a shield, a bend between two roses. Legend indecipherable.
