Description

Gift with warranty from John Michell' son and heir of Nicholas Michell' of Coventre, to Symon Hunt of Coventre merchant, of two cottages in Coventre, lying in `minori vico parcy' [Little Park Street] between the tenement which Thomas Tappesser holds and a tenement which Laurence (?) Goldesmyth' formerly held; also 12 shillings rent issuing out of a messuage in the said street which John de Shyrfford' held in fee between the tenement formerly of Richard Atte Grene and the tenement formerly of John de Shyrfford; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: Adam Botenere, mayor of Coventre, Rowland ?Damet and John Bonde, bailiffs of the same, William Wolff, William Attylbourgh' and others. Dated at Coventre, Saturday in the feast of St. John the Baptist, 9 Richard II. Seal on tag: circular, dark green. A bend between two annulets. Legend: MICHEL ........
