Copy of the court roll of the court of Thomas de Ferrariis held at Stychale, 14 May, 11 Henry VI, recording that Edmund Brodgreve of Couventr' came and took a messuage and six acres late in the tenure of John Baron' called Cardemakere; to hold the same at the pleasure of the lord, rendering annually 3s. 10d. and a heriot when due of 3s. 4d. With a further copy of the court roll of Stychale of 4 November, 11 Henry VI, recording that the same Edmund came and took a messuage and half a virgate late in the tenure of John Coton; to hold the same for the term --- [of his life?] ---- according to the custom of the manor, and rendering annually 12 shillings and doing fealty; and the said Edmund did fealty and will give a heriot when due of -------.
