Description

Lease with warranty from Joylinus son of Ranulph de Stivechale to John Minot of Coventr' of 4 acres of land, with the meadow pertaining to it, in Stivechale; namely, one acre in le Hallefeld between the land of Lady Alice de Longele and the land of Ralph de Stretton'; one and a half acres at Cockislone between the land of the said Ralph and Alice; and one and a half acres at the grove (ad gravam) between the land of William le Westerne and the land of the said Ralph; to hold of the said Joylinus from Michaelmas 13 Edward son of Henry [1285] for 21 years rendering annually one clove of gilly flower at Christmas; and for this the said John gives 10 shillings. Witnesses: Robert le Wodeward, Ranulph le Prestes, John de Barwe, John de Horewelle, Ralph de Wytele, Anketil the clerk, William Galewey clerk and others. Tag, seal lost.
