Custodial History
This collection was recatalogued in 2014 by project archivist Rachael Krier, as SAVP. However, project constraints resulted in only the electronic catalogue being reorganised, with the records in the strong rooms, still referenced against the original ER11 scheme. In addition, the finding number device, which should have retained the ER11 references for operational effectiveness, was wrongly populated (possibly upon migration from CALM to QI in 2016) with SAVP references. This rendered the collection 'invisible' for online searches, with severe operational difficulties resulting. In 2024, a process to reinstate the finding number sequence was introduced, as a means of restoring the visibility of the collection. JR 23/02/2024.
