Description

Bond from John Spycer of Warrewyk, gentleman, to John Clerk of Coventr', hosier, in £10; the condition of the bond being that, whereas the said John Clerk leased to the said John Spycer and Simon Mountford, chaplain, a piece of land, a dovecote, an orchard, a garden, a virgate of land and a virgate of meadow in the vill and fields of Styvechale to hold from the feast of the Annunciation next ensuing for a term of 10 years, if the said John and Simon should of their own accord cause any unreasonable waste to the said property within the said term, then the said bond should be enforced.
