Description

Quitclaim with warranty from John Barowe of Allesley, son and heir of Robert de Barowe of Styvechale to William Dey son of John Dey of Styvechale of all his right in all the lands, tenements, rents, reversions and services with appurtenances in Styvechale which formerly belonged to Thomas de Barowe or Robert de Barowe of Styvechale, father of the grantor, or which the grantor had, together with the said Robert his father, by gift of the said Thomas de Barowe; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: John Onley, mayor of Coventr', Henry Wentbrygg' and Thomas Grene, bailiffs of the same city, John Bryghtmere, John Hayly, William Stone, Thomas Mason' and others. Dated at Coventre, 2 November, 6 Henry V Seal of tag; circular, red. A man's head crowned and bearded within a cusped border. Legend obscure.
