Description

Demise with warranty from Hugh son of Margery de Stivichale to Richard de Asseby of half a virgate of meadow in Stivichale next to the river (cursum acque) lying between le Lowemulne and the bridge of Bathekinton'; to hold of the said Hugh from Michaelmas [29 September] 1277 for 6 years, rendering annually one rose at the feast of St. John the Baptist; and for this the said Richard gives 8 shillings. Witnesses: William de Liston', Robert Forestar', John de Barue, Joscelin son of Ranulph, Ranulph son of Hugh and others. Seal on tag; oval, green. A radiant cross.
