Description

Gift with warranty from Thomas de Barewe of Styvechale to Robert de Barewe his son and John son of the said Robert of all his lands and tenements with meadows, feedings, pastures, ditches, hedges, easements and appurtenances in Styvechale; to hold to the said Robert and John for ever from the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: Dom William Pykerell', chaplain, William Reod(?Reed), Robert le Palmere, Richard de Hull' of Styvechale, Richard de Barewe de Coventr' and others. Dated at Styvechale, Wednesday next after the feast of St. Botolph 19 Edward III. Seal on tag; circular, brown. A bull's head caboshed with a cross between the antlers. Legend obscure.
