Description

Exemplification of fine levied Easter Term, 9 Henry IV, between Thomas Marchall of Coventre and John Childe, chaplain, plaintiffs, and Peter Ripon' of Coventre, `botelmaker', and Matilda, his wife, daughter and heiress of Richard Frebern' of Coventre, deforciants, of twenty-three acres of land and three acres of meadow in Styveschale. The said Peter and Matilda recognise the said land to be the right of the said Thomas and John as by their gift; and for this they give 10 marks. On tag, seal of Court of Common Pleas. Endorsed: A fyne of Frebarne, his landes in Styveschale, in the nynthe year of Henry the fourthe. Purchased by Bradmedo and geven to Sutton Colfeild chanterye.
