Description

Settlement between Katherine Stretton of Coventry, widow, and John Stretton of the same, shoemaker, of the one part and John Bowater of Whitley in the parish of St. Michael, Coventry, esq., of the other, of a dispute between them concerning the payment of tithe on two parcels of pasture called the Holmes lying in Stichall, alias Stivichall, belonging to Bagginton Mills, now in the tenure of John Cave, which dispute had been referred to Robert Beake of Coventry, gent., and Thomas Bewley of the same, alderman. It is now agreed that, in accordance with the decision of the said arbitrators, the said Katherine and John Stretton should pay annually to the said John Bowater 3 shillings in discharge of the said tithe.
