Grant by John Honyburn' of Coventr', whittawer, to John Browne of Coventr', chaplain, of one field with appurtenances called Kyngeswode lying within the lordship of Stonley; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: Robert Bradmedowe, Mayor of Coventr', Robert Eme and John Dey, Bailiffs of the same, John Walgrave, Edward Brogreve, John Waldegryse and many others. Dated at Stonley, 14 July, 35 Henry VI. Seal on tag: oval, red. A chained ape seated on a stool holding a spray of leaves in his right hand.
