Description

Gift with warranty from John Malyn, chaplain, to William Malyn of Tuxforth', John Grene, barber, of Estretforth' and John Fawne of Egmanton', of one acre and three rods of arable lying in diverse places in the fields of Egmanton' with all appurtenances, as is more fully shown in a certain charter; to hold to the said William, John and John and their heirs for ever of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: William Deyvill' of Egmanton', Thomas Fyrmory of the same, Nicholas Wynteworth' of the same and others. Dated at Egmanton', Sunday next after the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 1420 Seal on tag: shield-shaped, red; armorial. A stag's head, caboshed with a cross moline between the antlers, in chief the letters PLAS? Endorsed: Egmanton
