Description

Lease with warranty from John son of Ranulph de Stivischal' to Thomas de Merston' and Joan his wife of one and a half acres of arable land of which half an acre lies in le Mershe, half an acre upon le Watergall' and half an acre on the furlong called le Whyte; to hold of the said John during the lives of the said Thomas and Joan, rendering annually one rose at Mid-summer for the first 40 years from this date, and after the forty years 10 shillings at the usual terms in Stivischal'; and for this the grantor receives 10 shillings. Witnesses: Robert Baudewyn' of Stonl', Simon del Cloud', John de Fynham, Geoffrey de Whytel', Henry del Heth', Richard in le Hurn' of Bathekynton', William le Western' of Stivischal' and many others.
