Description

Defeasance from John Spycer to John Clerk of Coventr', hosier. Whereas the said John Clerk' is bound to the said John Spycer by a writing obligatory bearing date 13 March, 14 Henry VII, in 30 pounds, nevertheless the said John Spycer grants that if he shall have peaceable possession of a piece of land in Styvechall', together with a dovecote, an orchard and a garden adjacent, and with a virgate of land and a virgate of meadow in the vill and fields of Styvechall', which land was demised by the said John Clerk to the said John Spycer from the feast of the Annunciation next for a term of 10 years, then the said bond shall be void.
